The foundation (quarterly)
We pull the all-time and 12-month label histories of every top 100 charting house artist on Beatport. That tells us who the major labels and artists actually are, the part that doesn't shift week to week.
Ladder maps the release histories of … charting artists across House, Tech House, and six other electronic genres, and turns them into an eight-rung climb to your dream label. Every rung overlays this week's Beatport Hype 100, so you see who has momentum right now, not last quarter.
Pick the label you want to land on. Then narrow the lens to a genre, or anchor the path to artists whose sound you reference. The more you tell us, the more personal the climb.
Search … labels. Any tier, Defected down to a Hype-only micro.
Grouped by tier, scroll, or filter above. Click any to pick it.
Restrict the climb to artists who chart in this genre.
Anchor the climb to producers whose sound you reference. Labels they touched float to the top of each rung.
Sorted by total Beatport releases. Click any to add, pick up to three.
A real artist. A real climb. Here's the path the model is trained on.
We pull the all-time and 12-month label histories of every top 100 charting house artist on Beatport. That tells us who the major labels and artists actually are, the part that doesn't shift week to week.
For every pair of labels that share artists in common, we measure how often they co-occur. That's the recommendation engine, it knows which labels actually feed into which.
Every Friday a cron pulls Beatport's Hype 100. Any label on your ladder that's currently charting gets a live 🔥 Hype #X badge, so you see who has momentum this week, not last quarter.
Trained on real Beatport release histories across all 8 genres, mapping actual artist climbs and analysing label tier levels to predict the most likely path to your dream label. Hype 100 refreshes every Friday.
Ladder is built on real Beatport release histories, thousands of releases by charting artists across House, Tech House, Minimal / Deep Tech, Mainstage, Deep House, Jackin' House, Funky House, and Techno. Every label in the system comes from actual published music, not editorial opinion.
We map which labels share artists. When two labels frequently appear on the same producer's release history, they're connected. From those connections we build a co-occurrence graph, then rank every label by tier and surface the most statistically likely path from where you are to where you want to be.
Labels are tiered based on their ranking in Beatport charts and Beatport genre data. Dream labels sit at the top, they're the highest-charting imprints in each genre. Established, Mid, Small, and Micro labels fill out the rungs below, giving you a realistic step-by-step path rather than a single impossible leap.
Producers who are actively making music and want to know where to send their demos, this week, not in the abstract. Pick your dream label, filter by genre, add reference artists, and Ladder shows you the realistic next steps. No industry contacts required.
